Most of us can grab an electronic device, make a photograph, and send it far and wide. In recent years, the number of photographs made each day has increased at a staggering rate. Although photography – capturing light and subjects – is accessible to almost all of us, we all take pause when presented photographs that capture light and subjects in extraordinary ways. A common photograph suddenly becomes art!

Members of the Chester County Camera Club proudly present the many ways they captured light and subjects. Beginning with sunrises, sunsets, shadows and darkness, completed by subjects ranging from sweeping landscapes to intimate views of people and things, the photographers hope you will enjoy the extraordinary ways in which they transformed the ubiquitous photograph into something we all consider to be art.
